Job Title: Trust Manager, Hong Kong Office
Qualifications: STEP and or ICSA qualified
Start Date: February 2014

1.   Main Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of administration and client service for the clients assigned in accordance with the department service standards and company procedure manual(s).

Personally responsible for the day to day administration of a portfolio of complex structures.

Provide technical guidance to more junior staff.

Assist the Director(s) with the smooth operation of the office as a whole.

Analysis of client requests with reference to the Director(s) where appropriate on technical or legal matters.

Ensure the implementation and adherence to corporate policies as laid down at any given time.

Ensure the implementation and adherence to the terms of the Trust/Company documentation for the cases handled.

Day to day liaison with the client, and/or their advisers, and other professionals parties involved in the management of the structure.

Attendance at meetings with clients and/or their advisers and the development of relationships with them.

Ensure that his/her portfolio and the departments trusts and company structures accounts are prepared in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with agreed requirements.

Day to day book-keeping of all internal financial transactions and reconciliation of bank statements on a regular basis.

2.   Knowledge and Experience Required

Ideally STEP and or ICSA qualified with 5 years + experience in an Offshore Trust environment.

3.   Working Hours

As agreed with Director but typically 9am to 5.30pm, additional hours as necessary and in line with operational requirements.
